Maybe it's my Pacific NW roots, but I love a good brainstorm and getting my hands dirty. "Impossible" challenges are my specialty and learning how to do something new is oxygen to my soul. I think our world functions better when we're able to communicate with one another, and I find it thrilling to be able to contribute my visual, verbal, and problem-solving skills toward that end—in support of human understanding, inspiration, and purpose.

My brush with formal training in the visual arts came to me rather late, but that only enables me to season it with a vast range of experiences, a pinch of wisdom, a generous sprinkling of humor, and a dash of maturity. I hold a bachelors in History with a minor in Geography, a certificate in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and a masters in Integrated Design, which is a graphic design program that emphasizes writing. I'm a west coast native who happily brought my NW vibe and my family to settle just outside of Washington, D.C.
